Glasgow Caledonian University's knowledge transfer project, KIT-OUT www.kit-out.org is running another of its popular "Food Clinics". This is the first time that one of these informal, drop-in events has come to Dumfries & Galloway, giving local companies an opportunity to talk to University experts on all aspects of food technology, such as food safety, HACCP training, nutrition and dietetics, shelf life testing, packaging and labelling. Experts from the Centre for Design and Innovation at Robert Gordon University will also be there to advise on how design can help you, not only in your products and packaging, but also in your distribution, branding and service. So if you are a food producer or manufacturer, a supplier to the food sector or you serve food in a restaurant or hotel as part of the hospitality /tourism sector, there will be something to interest you on the day.
