Welcome to the new website for the Scottish Borders Chamber of Commerce

Originally developed for the Borders Works project, this site will be updated for the Chamber. The work previously undertaken by Border Work is now becoming a core part of the Chamber. Please bear with us while we update the information on the site and make sure that it is up-to-date. If you have any comments please do not hesitate to contact us.

Some people will think that a Chamber of Commerce is just "another talking shop" but they would be wrong.  The businessmen and women who came together to set up this Chamber are busy folk who understand that time is precious, therefore the Chamber has to be an organisation which promotes the interests of its members and the economic well being of the Region as a whole.

Workshops, Networking Events & Seminars

The Chamber holds workshops, networking events and seminars throughout the Borders and because its membership is drawn from the business community it responds quickly to local needs.  The Chamber also ensures that our business voice is heard by policy makers at the Scottish Borders Council, the Scottish Parliament, Westminster and Brussels.

Occupation Showcases contains real life interviews of local people working within local businesses. What do people do on a typical day at work? The Towns & Lifestyle pages provide information on our towns and links to useful information.
